Ms. Greenan began teaching at NACP in 2008. Prior to teaching she earned an associate’s degree at Santa Monica College where she graduated with honors and received an Academic Student Athlete award. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University Northridge and graduated with honors. Ms. Greenan was a member of the NACP leadership team in 2014 and is a current member of the NACP tech team. She has attended the CUE conferences and continues to help guide others in using technology effectively in the classroom.
Ms. Greenan is the Co-Founder of the Prezi Club, which was established in 2013. In 2012 Ms. Greenan attended the Reading and Writing Project conference at Columbia University. In the summer of 2014 Ms. Greenan traveled to Colonial Williamsburg on a scholarship to learn about our country’s first settlers.
Mrs. Guirola earned an Associate’s degree from Orange Coast College in 2004. She then attended California State University of Long Beach where she graduated and received her teaching credential, along with her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies, in 2008.
Mrs. Guirola has taught in various grade levels ranging from third to seventh grade in both public and private schools, before joining NACP as a kindergarten teacher in 2013. She now is excited to teach fourth grade at NEW Academy.
Mrs. Tafoya has been teaching fourth grade at NACP since 2005. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from California State University Los Angeles. She also obtained a minor in Chicano Studies, as well as a Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential.
