N.E.W. Academy Canoga Park is an inclusive community designed to educate, engage, and prepare children to reach their highest potential. Currently we serve students ranging from transitional Kindergarten to 5th grade. Founded by the landmark organization N.E.W. Economics for Women, NACP is a self-governed and dynamic charter school with a ‘whole family’ approach. We pride ourselves on being of service to our students, parents, caregivers, teachers, and staff.

Welcome to N.E.W. Academy Canoga Park!
My name is Nina LeMasurier, and I am thrilled to welcome you to our school community. Our mission is to provide a safe, exciting, standards-driven learning environment where students use their talents to contribute positively to their community.
The Core Values of N.E.W. Academy Canoga Park are:

The Vision of N.E.W. Academy Canoga Park is to create a child-centered environment where students will be able to work cooperatively, become self-directed, think critically, develop self-esteem and self-assurance, and have respect for cultural diversity. We celebrate the various languages in our community and provide culturally relevant curricular to address the learning needs of both our monolingual and bilingual students, grades TK-5th.
