The Parent Center
welcomes all of our
families to get involved!

The Parent Center welcomes all of our families to get involved! Parent and caregiver involvement is directly linked to student success. That’s why we believe in establishing strong communication between home and school, as well as inviting parents to volunteer at least 20 hours of their time a year. Here are a few ways you can be part of your child’s education and receive participation hours:

Workshops:

Our Parent Center has some new as well as returning workshops scheduled throughout the school year! All workshops are virtual this year, they are FREE, and they’re focused on you and your child’s growth.

Teacher Assistance:

Be proactive and let your teacher know that they can count on you for any take-home project assistance. Parents can help out cutting, gluing, sorting, and much more!

School Events:

Parents earn hours for attending school events/activities such as: Orientation, Back 2 School Night, Coffee With The Principal, and Celebrations. When Parent-Teacher Conferences come around, you will also get hours for coming to your scheduled conference!

Interested in getting more involved in the decision making process at our school? We have two parent committees, the English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) and the School Site Council (SSC). Please contact Vanessa Garcia, our Parent Center Liaison, at (818) 388-0530 or [email protected], for more info on how to get involved. If you aren’t able to attend meetings and would like to know what’s being discussed, our meeting agendas are always posted below.

Coffee with the Principal:

Coffee with the Principal is an opportunity to get to know our school Principal, and allow them to get to know you and the families of our beautiful community. Meeting agendas are always available below. If you’d like to know more, contact our Parent Center Liaison, at (818) 388-0530 or [email protected] and check our Calendar..
